  • Visual design
    • Definition of typography, colours and backgrounds using stylesheets (CSS) so that each user can adjust the display according to their preferences.
    • Use of relative font sizes to allow text to be increased or reduced from the browser.
    • Possibility of accessing content even with CSS disabled or browsers without stylesheet support.
    • Options to modify brightness, contrast and zoom.
    • Adequate contrast between textual and non-textual elements.
    • General improvement of visual clarity and focus visibility.
  • Content structure and semantics
    • Pages with clear structure to facilitate navigation with screen readers.
    • Correct use of headings, lists and HTML tags.

Content accessibility updates:

  • We are working on integrating alternative texts for images that currently lack them.
  • We are making progress in developing appropriate subtitles, transcriptions and audio descriptions for audio and video content that currently lacks these resources, to ensure their accessibility for all people.
  • We are working on the accessibility of office documents in PDF format published before 28 June 2025 that may not fully comply with accessibility requirements.
  • We are working on some graphics and infographics included on the website that have alternative text descriptions that are not fully interpretable by assistive technologies.
  • Although most of the website is already accessible to people who navigate only with a keyboard, we are working to ensure that the updating of interactive modules and components allows keyboard navigation correctly; complying with conformance criterion 2.1.1 Keyboard of WCAG 2.1. In this regard, we review and adapt these modules to ensure full operability without the need for a mouse or other pointing devices.

 

ACCIONA Energía invokes the disproportionate burden exception for:

  • The adaptation of all PDF documents prior to June 2025.
  • The retroactive incorporation of alternative texts in non-essential historical images.
