ACCIONA has received the honor of winning two 2015 Project Finance International Awards for projects it is working on in Australia: the Toowoomba highway in Queensland and the Sydney Light Rail.

The building of the bypass alongside Ferrovial, Plenary Group and Transfield Services, valued at AUD 1.6 billion, won the Asia-Pacific Road Deal of the Year award.

Meanwhile, the Sydney Light Railway, being built by the consortium of ACCIONA, Transdev Sydney, Alstom and Capella Capital for AUD 2.1 billion won Asia-Pacific PPP Deal of the Year.

The two projects, along with the growth of the Company in Australia, go a considerable way towards consolidating the current and future presence of ACCIONA in the country.
