  • ACCIONA was rated 'A', the highest score, in the CDP Supplier Engagement Rating report, which evaluates companies' engagement with suppliers to address climate change.

The information was obtained from the climate change questionnaire, in which, ACCIONA was  the only utility to achieve the highest rating (A) , emphasising in particular the company's approach to managing climate change and water use. ACCIONA is one of just 27 companies to achieve the highest rating in these two categories, out of more than 3,000 companies around the world that were assessed this year.

ACCIONA also obtained the maximum grade, 'A', in the CDP Supply Chain Climate report, in which 4,800 global suppliers were assessed, and in the CDP Supply Chain Water report, for which 1,500 companies were evaluated.

In the Supply Chain Programme, which measures companies' status as sustainable service providers, CDP highlighted ACCIONA's excellence vis-à-vis its customers in managing risks related to climate and water, in promoting transparency throughout the value chain, and in evidencing its commitment when addressing risks, seizing opportunities and ensuring business continuity.
