  • María José Campos, assistant manager of the Proposals and Transactions Department of ACCIONA’s concessions business, will take part on the discussion panel entitled “Road to recovery for traffic risk assets” on Wednesday 28 at 1.15 pm EST (6.15pm CET).

ACCIONA is taking part in the “Latin America: Energy and Infrastructure Finance Exchange” virtual event organised by Proximo magazine from 27 to 29 October.

The central theme of the event will be the growing need for investment in infrastructure and renewable energy in Latin America and the Caribbean in response to economic growth in the region. The wider discussion will focus on infrastructure assets, project risks and the geopolitical circumstances that are driving investment in Latin America.

María José Campos, assistant manager of the Proposals and Transactions Department of ACCIONA’s concessions business, will take part in the discussion panel on Wednesday 28 at 1.15 pm EST (6.15pm CET) entitled “The road towards recovery of traffic risk assets: Which sectors need the most help, and are lenders and sponsors happy to support them?”.

The discussion will look at issues such as the various ways that sponsors can raise capital, the key role of development banks for the survival of traffic assets, and the role of private investors and the strategies for dealing with the risks associated with certain projects.
