TECH HUB NEW GENERATION

"Tech Hub New Generation" is an ACCIONA Energía program that promotes professional development in renewable energies among university students in the Tamaulipas region (Mexico), offering them free training and the chance to gain their first work experience in the energy sector at both national and international level.

The program has an initial talent attraction phase, in which the company collaborates with several universities such as the Universidad Tecnológica de Tamaulipas del Norte (UTTN), the Tecnológico Nacional de México (TECNM), and the Universidad Autónoma de Tamaulipas (UAT). In the first edition, held this year, 40 students were selected to participate in two weeks of training, with courses on wind energy, lectures with experts and visits to wind farms.

After a thorough evaluation process of the candidates, 12 of the 40 young participants, six men and six women, moved on to the field training and mobility phase as Maintenance Assistants. All of them followed an intense training plan, both technical and in skills. Now, they are undertaking mobility program to the United States, putting into practice all the experience acquired in the projects that ACCIONA Energía operates in that country.
