ACCIONA S.A. has been certified by AENOR in accordance with the UNE-ISO 37001 and UNE 19601 standards, ratifying the company's adoption of best practices in the area of anti-bribery management systems and criminal law compliance.
The AENOR certificate under the UNE-ISO 37001 standard verifies that ACCIONA S.A. has an effective Anti-Bribery Management System. ISO 37001 is the international standard that establishes the requirements and provides guidance for establishing, implementing, maintaining, reviewing and improving mechanisms to combat potential bribery practices in companies.
This certification also contributes to creating a culture of integrity and transparency within organisations and enhances their reputation.
AENOR also issued a certificate of Compliance with Criminal Law to ACCIONA S.A. in accordance with UNE 19601, the Spanish standard of best practices for preventing crime, reducing the related risks, and fostering a corporate culture of ethics and compliance.
ACCIONA is one of the first Ibex 35 companies to be certified under these two standards by AENOR in the framework of its commitment to corporate governance, and it continues to make progress with the implementation of best practices in compliance at a national and international level.
