ACCIONA has been ranked among the top 100 in the world in the 5th Social Media Sustainability Index, drawn up by consulting company Sustainly, which lists the companies that best communicate their sustainability practices in social media.

Ranked 62nd, with 69 points out of 100, ACCIONA enters for the first time in the fifth edition of this index and is among the top companies in the Industrial sector (#12). The company's concern for energy consumption, environmental impacts, raw materials and diversity in the workplace, identify it as an authoritative voice in social media.

According to the report, Twitter and YouTube are the channels most used by companies to publicise their sustainability practices. ACCIONA publicises its commitment to sustainability on its YouTube channel and via its Twitter account. It also shares its activities in this area on Facebook, its blog, LinkedIn and other social media.

The report analyzes the communication of sustainable practices via social media by 475 companies from around the world that are members of the Dow Jones Sustainability Index (DJSI), FTSE4GOOD or other sustainability indices.
