Pioneers in electric biomass
The company was a pioneer in this kind of energy in southern Europe by grid connecting the biomass plant at Sangüesa (Navarra, Spain), it is now a reference in the renewable energy sector. The experience accumulated by the company since the early stages of evolution of biomass has strengthened its leadership, particularly in the supply logistics of raw materials.
We have three operating plants that generate electricity equivalent to the consumption of 118,000 homes per year. We are currently building a new plant in Logrosán (Cáceres).
The energy from biomass helps us to design a better planet by developing the rural world, structuring the territory, combatting forest fires and establishing itself as a carbon-neutral source of energy.
From the point of view of CO2 emissions, biomass has a neutral effect on the atmosphere Its CO2 emissions have a neutral balance. Its CO2 emissions emitted during combustion is equivalent to the amount absorbed by the plant material used as raw material during the life cycle of the plant.
