ACCIONA is executing the construction contract for Lot 2 of the South Commuter Railway Project awarded by the Department of Transportation of the Government of the Republic of the Philippines.

Valued at around €480 million, the project includes the construction of 7.9 kilometers of track on a viaduct and three stations (España, Santa Mesa and Paco) in Manila.

This contract is part of a 54.6 km railway line, connecting the Philippine capital with Calambá (Laguna), and is co-financed by the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) and the Asian Development Bank (ADB).

This landmark project, which will have a significant impact on the Filipino community, will improve transportation connectivity and accessibility, reduce traffic congestion, and provide safer and more efficient travel.
