Mortlake South Wind Farm, operational since 2024 and situated in the Moyne Shire region, provides 157.5MW of power.

The wind farm was built on cleared open and level land that is predominantly used for dairy farming. The location is highly exposed to consistent winds, making the site ideal for wind powered electricity generation. The wind farm has been fully operational since July 2024.

  • CO2 emissions benefit: Prevents the emission of approximately 532k tonnes of CO2 from coal-fired power stations per year
  • Jobs: About 100 jobs created during construction and 10 permanent full-time roles during operations
