SUPPORTIVE ENERGY
acciona.org is ACCIONA's corporate foundation whose mission is to cooperate in development by promoting access to energy, water and infrastructure for people and communities with no expectation of coverage of these needs or with difficulty in paying for these services.
ACCIONA Energía actively collaborates with the Foundation, which has installed home photovoltaic systems in rural communities in Peru, Mexico, Panama, Chile, Ethiopia, the Philippines and Spain (with a plant for collective self-consumption in San Juan del Puerto, Huelva).
acciona.org's activities in the field of energy alone have resulted in some 35 million hours of available lighting and more than 31,000 schoolchildren being able to do their homework after sunset. The Foundation's initiatives benefited more than 92,000 people in 2022.
