SUPPORTIVE ENERGY
acciona.org is ACCIONA's corporate foundation whose mission is to cooperate in development by promoting access to energy, water and infrastructure for people and communities with no expectation of coverage of these needs or who face difficulties in affording such services.
Recently, acciona.org began operations in South Africa and the Dominican Republic, two new countries that join its existing presence in Peru, Mexico, Panama, Chile, the Philippines, Ethiopia, and Spain.
In 2024, the foundation expanded its services in renewable electricity, clean water, and adequate sanitation, reaching 161,260 people across nine countries — a 36% increase compared to the previous year. It also supported 33,400 households, as well as small businesses, educational institutions, and community centers — all beneficiaries of a service model that includes both the necessary technology and ongoing technical maintenance to ensure long-term continuity.
