Job Description

Mission: Support the development of existing portfolio projects and contribute to the growth of the project pipeline. Assist in ensuring the appropriate quality throughout the permitting process.


Responsibilities:

  • Assist in developing and maintaining relationships with relevant stakeholders such as local governments, environmental offices, and other public authorities important to the development process.

  • Support the management of environmental studies, permit applications, and documentation, ensuring the quality and completeness of materials submitted.

  • Help coordinate and follow up on the necessary authorizations from the administration, contributing to the process of obtaining building permits.

  • Communicate effectively within the team and across departments to provide input and assumptions for project layout design and optimization.

  • Collaborate closely with internal teams including Legal, Engineering, Procurement, Construction, Finance, Investment Analysis, and Energy Assessment.

  • Assist in preparing project budgets, monitoring expenses, and supporting the invoice processing workflow.

  • Support the registration, monitoring, and reporting of project status and milestones.

  • Assist in negotiations of land leases and help manage relationships with landowners to secure land surface rights for renewable energy projects (wind/solar).

  • Monitor relevant changes in permitting regulations at national and regional levels; stay informed on market trends and participate in industry working groups where appropriate

  • Support the identification and review of potential new projects and assist in M&A and due diligence processes for greenfield or near-RTB stage opportunities.

  • Contribute to the analysis and coordination of potential co-development agreements.

  • Ensure clear and continuous communication with cross-functional teams.

  • Carry out assigned tasks with a high level of accuracy and a proactive attitude, under the guidance of senior team members.

  • Perform additional duties as required.

Required Skills and Competencies

  • Required Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Industrial, Electrical , Environmental, Energy or similar...)

  • Nice to have education: we highly value training on project management, as well as in administrative procedures (preferably in planning, environmental, and building permits), in business development of renewable energy projects. (Preferably familiar with wind or PV development procedures)

  • Skills: Proactive attitude, attention to detail, strong communication skills, analytical mindset, teamwork, energetic, passionate, open-minded, willingness to learn, and target-oriented.

  • Languages: High level of English (B2-C1).

  • Experience: between 3-5 years of experience in business development and project development, with at least 2 years of experience working in renewable eneryg projects (preferrably wind & PV)

  • Nice to have experience: QGIS or similar software

  • Mobility: Availability for frequent travel required.
