The companies signed an agreement today to install an "intelligent charging network".
The first charging points will be installed in car parks on the Madrid-Valencia AVE (high-speed train) line before the end of the year.
In 2011, ACCIONA will install two charging points in the more than 60 railway car parks managed by COMFERSA.

Mexican President Felipe Calderón inaugurated the turbine yesterday. The 1.5 MW machine incorporates ACCIONA Windpower technology.

Gamesa is the project coordinator for Azimut. Offshore Wind Energy 2020, partnering with 10 other companies, of which Alstom Wind, ACCIONA Windpower, Iberdrola Renovables and ACCIONA Energía stand out, and 22 research centres.
The project, approved by the Centre for the Development of Industrial Technology (CDTI), a unit of the Science and Innovation Ministry via the Cenit Programme, will require total investment of 25 million euros over four years.

ACCIONA today inaugurated its biomass plant at Miajadas (Cáceres province, Spain), a facility with a capacity of 16 MW representing an investment of 50 million euros. It is the first of its type in Spain designed to use mixed raw material (herbaceous and ligneous agricultural waste products), which makes facilitates supplies and improves profitability.
