ACCIONA Energy is developing three biomass plants to produce electricity in the Spanish region of Castilla y León. They are planned in Briviesca (Burgos), Valencia de Don Juan (León) and Almazán (Soria), with total capacity of 55 MW and investment of around 140 million euros.

CCIONA Energy has announced it has closed a $266 million long-term project financing for Nevada Solar One, its 64-megawatt Concentrated Solar Power (CSP) plant, the largest solar power plant built in the world in 16 years. The deal represents the first leveraged lease structured financing for a CSP plant in the United States.

ACCIONA Windpower, an ACCIONA group company that works in the design, production and marketing of wind turbines and the assembly and construction of wind energy facilities, will supply Naturener, a Spanish renewables company, with, 200 of its AW 77/1500 class II wind turbines, totalling 300 MW capacity.
ACCIONA ended the first quarter of 2007 with 141 million euro in attributable net profit, a 38.2% increase on the first quarter of last year. Consolidated revenues increased by 25.9% to 1.641 billion euro as a result of good performance by all the divisions.
