ACCIONA Energy, through its subsidiary ACCIONA Green Energy Developments, is the representative (not the dominant operator) with the highest volume of electric power traded on the Iberian Electricity Market.

ACCIONA Green is legally empowered to act as Representative of the Special Regime. It manages the sale of the energy produced by Group plants and provides this service to other special regime producers, who thus benefit from the security and stability involved in marketing their power within the portfolio of the ACCIONA Group.

ACCIONA Green offers clients a wide range of services in three management areas:

• Sale of electricity. Representation in the market, certification of guarantee of renewable origin, operational in the wholesale market, optimization of O&M regimes, settlements, calculation of invoices to distributors, etc.
• Marketing of electricity. Delivering energy to large end-customers, with a 100% guarantee of renewable origin accredited by the National Energy Commission. Administrative support and advice on the most suitable form of contracting.
• Management of the CO2 portfolio. Management of carbon credits under the EU Allocation plans (EUAs) or CDM projects; access to international emissions trading markets and related operations.
