EPC contracts

ACCIONA Energy has also developed projects for third parties in the main renewable energies. The company has proven capacity to undertake this type of projects completely, or to provide services related to the different phases of the process.

ACCIONA Energy has also developed projects for third parties in a number of renewable technologies, particularly wind power and photovoltaic energy.

The company has adapted to the customer’s needs in terms of the most suitable cooperation formula in each case. This can range from a shared ownership company to turnkey projects through EPC (engineering, procurement and construction) projects or the provision of specific services in each phase of the process. Currently this activity is mainly performed by other ACCIONA business divisions.

Among the EPC contracts for third-party customers signed by ACCIONA Energía we would highlight:

  • Ventika Wind Power Complex (252 MW) in Nuevo León (Mexico) for Blackstone, Cemex and other private investors. It entered service in 2016.
  • Ingenio Wind Farm (46.5 MW) in Oaxaca (Mexico), for Actis and Comexhidro. It was grid connected in September 2015.
  • South Canoe Wind Farm (102 MW) in Canada for Nova Scotia Power and other developers, in service since 2015.
  • Royalla Photovoltaic Plant (24 MWp) built for FRV, the biggest in Australia and grid connected in 2014.
  • Pampa-Camarones Photovoltaic Plant (7.2 MWp), in Arica y Parinacota (Chile), por E-CL (GDF-Suez), installed in 2015.
