    MAJADAS CSP PLANT

    A 49.9 MW plant equipped with 192,000 parabolic cylinder mirrors.

    The second CSP plant built by ACCIONA in Extremadura after Alvarado, Majadas entered service in November 2010. Its 77 kilometers of solar collectors capture the sun’s rays to produce clean energy to cover the demand for electricity of around 30,000 homes.
