How biodiesel is produced
- Biodiesel can be used in any conventional diesel engine. No modifications to the vehicle are required.
- It can be mixed with normal diesel in any proportion. If your tank is already partially filled with diesel and you want to put biodiesel in, that is no problem.
- Biodiesel is sold to the public in different mixtures with diesel: the most common are B-10, B-20 and B-30 (i.e. 10%, 20% and 30% of ordinary diesel respectively).
